How to run Android apps on Chromebook

Chromebooks are laptops that run on Google ChromeOS and have been around for a while now. They come with cloud storage and Google applications in-built and multiple layers of security.

Chromebooks are also more affordable compared to Mac and Windows laptops making them more accessible for people.

Chromebooks in 2016 got Android app support which means that most Chromebooks launched after 2017 support them. Android apps on Chromebook give users a chance to use the same apps they use on their smartphones and play popular smartphone games as well.

Steps to check if your Chromebook supports Google Play Store for Android apps:

Turn on your Chromebook and log in.

Click on the status bar in the bottom right corner.

If Play Store is supported on your Chromebook then you will see a Google Play Store option.

Steps to enable Play Store on Chromebook:

Turn on your Chromebook and log in.
