The Meizu 18x is unveiled with a 6.67″ 10-bit AMOLED display and Snapdragon 870 chipset



Meizu has unveiled a third model in addition to the 18s and 18s Pro – the Meizu 18x. This smartphone has a 2.5D curved glass on the front and back. The front is adorned with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 10-bit color support, FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 500 cd/m² typical brightness, and 700 cd/m² in high brightness mode. The on-cell display supports 360Hz touch sampling rate and MEMC (Motion Estimation Motion Compensation). The device is powered by a 4300 mAh battery with 30W fast charging and its processing power depends on a Snapdragon 870 chipset with 5G connectivity. There are 8GB/12GB of LPDDR4X RAM on board and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage that cannot be expanded. The camera department on the back is headed by a 64MP Samsung S5KGW3 primary shooter with an f/1.79 aperture and a 6-element lens. It is adjoined by an 8MP ultra-wide lens with an SK Hynix Hi846 sensor, f/2.2 aperture, 120-degree FoV, 5-element lens. Finally, there’s a 2MP JSL BF2253L depth-sensing unit. On the front, there’s a punch hole for the 13MP selfie snapper with an f/2.0 aperture and a 5-element lens. The model is equipped with an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port, and a single, 1217 ultra-linear speaker. It supports Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6E, 5G. The available colors include Zen White, Black, Blue Gradient and the prices of the Meizu 18x are as follows:

  • 12GB+128GB = CNY 3000
