Realme Narzo 50A and Narzo 50i go official in India



Realme India has unveiled for the local market a pair of smartphones from its Narzo series. The first is the Realme Narzio 50A. Available in Oxygen Blue and Oxygen Green color with a diagonal striped pattern on the rear shell, the device is based on a Helio G85 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage. The smartphone is powered by a 6000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging. It has a triple rear camera module headed by a 50MP shooter aided by a 2MP portrait lens and a 2MP lens for macro shots. The 6.5-inch display has a notch for the 8MP selfie camera. The display offers up to 570 nits of brightness in high ambient light conditions. The device is fitted with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a triple-tray for two Nano-SIM cards and a dedicated spot for a microSD card offering up to 256GB of memory expansion. The Realme Narzio 50A runs on Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11. It is priced at INR 11,499 for the 64GB version and INR 12,499 for the 128GB variant.

The second model presented today is the Realme Narzo 50i. It is available in Carbon Black and Mint Green colors, with another style of diagonal striped pattern on its rear shell. This is a budget smartphone equipped with a 5000 mAh battery and based on the Unisoc SC9863A chipset with a 1.6GHz octa-core CPU. It is paired with 2GB or 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone has a 6.5-inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and 400 nits of brightness. The camera department is very modest with an 8MP main shooter and a 5MP selfie snapper. Again, there’s a dual-SIM card tray with a third slot for a microSD card. This model is priced at INR 7,499 for the 2GB+32GB version and INR 8,799 for the 4GB+64GB variant.
